| "Lone Wolf" is based on a pattern
I got from a client after I quilted hers. I liked this pattern a lot
and wanted to make one for our weekend cabin, but it turned out a bit
too large for the space. There are a lot of bias edges in this quilt,
so it was a challenge to piece and quilt. Yes, there is a wolf
appliqued on the quilt. This quilt is approximately 60x60 inches and
was completed September 2002.

An original design by Judy
Parkins. Traditional basket squares on point in an Amish-style queen
sized quilt. The outer border is quilted in straight lines forming
interlocking chevrons echoing the border nine-patch squares. The
solid color blocks are quilted in roses and concentric circles, with
leaves and vines around the inside of the border and the basket
squares. Some of the roses are faux trapunto. Composite photo
taken at the 2002 Missoula Quilter's Guild show, May 25,
2002. SOLD
