Our Own Quilts

The quilts pictured below were made for our own use or as gifts for family members.

Of course, family quilts get everyone involved: even the webmaster gets his fingers pried off the keyboard from time to time and put to work hand-stitching binding.

A quilted vest made for the 2003 Bitterroot Quilt Guild show: took Second-place in Clothing category (out of two entries).

The applique group called this calendar-theme appliqued wall hanging "Twelve Lessons in Patience," for the twelve month pieces, each done with a different technique: took Second-place in the Wall Pieced, Applique, Machine Quilted category at the 2003 Bitterroot Quilt Guild show.

This was Judy's entry in the 2003 Challenge category: the size range and one fabric pattern were set by the rules. Quilts were displayed by number until after the judging.

This Blooming Nine-Patch queen-sized quilt was done as a class project this spring, and is going to our youngest daughter.
