Our Own Quilts

The quilts pictured below were made for our own use or as gifts for family members.

Of course, family quilts get everyone involved: even the webmaster gets his fingers pried off the keyboard from time to time and put to work hand-stitching binding.

"Heart to Heart," a wall hanging about 28 inches square, made for my niece. This pattern is from a kit made for a Montana Public Radio premium in the 2002 fund-raising campaign. I decided to try it in my own choice of fabric colors. The quilting is mostly stippling with ribbons running between the hearts.
