Our Own Quilts
The quilts pictured below were made for our own use or as gifts for family members.
Of course, family quilts get everyone involved: even the webmaster gets his fingers pried off the keyboard from time to time and put to work hand-stitching binding.

Stack 'n Whack queen size quilt. Quilted with quarter-inch technique in the black border and stars. A diagonal grid was used around the outside of stars that have concentric center circles. |

I made this quilt for my sister about eight years ago for her guest room, and tied it. This year, I took it apart and quilted it on the long-arm machine. The dahlia pattern is from The Quick and Easy Giant Dahlia Quilt on the Sewing Machine, by Susan Alysworth Murwin and Suzzy Chalfant Payne. I added the log cabin borders. |
