Quilts keep the same index numbers when new quilts are added. This means the you can find your quilt quickly no matter how long ago it was quilted: once you find your quilt in the gallery, click on the picture, then you can bookmark that page (Add to Favorites in Microsoft Internet Explorer) or email a link to the page so your family and friends will be able to go directly to your quilt. Quilt pictures stay in the gallery as long as we have space to hold them.

A Dresden Plate quilt. This quilt is about 25 years old: the original quilting consisted of machine quilting stitched in the ditch around the applique only. The owner brought us the quilt to be redone to stablize it for cleaning and preservation. The batting was in good shape and the existing quilting was sound, so the quilt was requilted as is instead of disassembling it and replacing the batting and backing. A small meander was added over the background, with feathers added in the border. Some repairs had been made over the years, which were redone in matching thread.
